Essentially, these chunky trade paperbacks are highlight reels for DC’s most popular characters. They are designed to be both comprehensive and affordably priced collections to help new readers get into the DC comics universe.
Several DC Finest collections are available for preorder ahead of their release later this year, and so far, these are some pretty great picks to kickstart a comic book collection with. You can check out how Batman grew into his role as a Gotham vigilante in a collection that contains the iconic Batman: Year One and Year Two storylines. There’s also Superman: The Coming of Superman, which features the Man of Steel’s earliest stories starting with the first issue of Action Comics from 1938. and Wonder Woman: Origins and Omens, which focuses on writer Gail Simone’s beloved run the series.
