Blizzard may have just inadvertently revealed a new feature coming in World of Warcraft’s new The War Within expansion: the ability for Dracthyr to be classes other than Evoker.

In the most-recent episode of the WoWCast, Blizzard shared an image of the game’s new account-wide Warbands login screen, showing four characters around a campfire. One of the characters in question is a Dracthyr, the humanoid dragon race added as part of the Dragonflight expansion. The Dracthyr are currently only able to be one class, the Evoker, which channels the magical powers of the various dragonflights to deal damage and support allies.

The price tag for new video games should go up, according to a Baldur’s Gate 3 developer. But Michael Douse, director of publishing for Larian Studios, believes the industry is in a holding pattern until Grand Theft Auto VI raises the starting entry fee from $70 to something higher.

On X, Douse started discussing the price of new video games while sharing a screenshot of what’s available in the expensive Ultimate Edition of Star Wars Outlaws. The Larian Studios executive bemoaned “vague content promises” to validate a high price point, adding that a title should be priced “accordingly with its quality, breadth, [and] depth.” However, Douse then explained that most new games should be charging more at this point.

“Almost all games should cost more at a base level because the cost of making them (inflation, for one) is outpacing pricing trends,” Douse said on X. “But I don’t think we’ll get there with DLC promises so much as quality [and] communication. Everyone’s just waiting for GTA [VI] to do it, lol.”

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has danced around the question about whether GTA VI could cost more than $70 Come from

Actor Ian McKellen has discussed the upcoming Lord of the Rings movie, which is tentatively titled The Hunt for Gollum. Appearing on the British TV show This Morning, McKellen said he doesn’t know much about the movie but expects to get a script in 2025.

“All I know is they called me up and said these films were going to happen and they’re mainly going to be about Gollum. Andy Serkis, who played Gollum, is going to direct. And there will be a script arriving sometime in the new year,” he said (via Discussing Film). “And then I’ll judge whether I want to go back. But I would. I would love to go back to New Zealand.

McKellen mentioned how the Harry Potter film series had two different actors play the Hogwarts headmaster Dumbledore, and he doesn’t want that to happen for Gandalf.

“I don’t like the idea of anybody else playing Gandalf,” he said.

Richard Harris played Dumbledore in the first two Harry Potter movies and was replaced by Michael Gambon following Harris’ death in 2002.

Also in the interview, McKellen said he’s been told about two new Lord of the Rings films. This doesn’t necessarily mean The Hunt for Gollum will be a two-part movie…

The Las Vegas Table Game Survey started as the Las Vegas Blackjack Survey on OnlineUnitedStatesCasinos.com. The first edition was in 2011. It expanded to table games in 2015. The early issues only covered downtown and the Strip. Today, all 73 Las Vegas casinos with live table games are represented.

The survey will give you a clue as to which casino offers the best or worst opportunities to play a specific casino game.

Blackjack

Blackjack is the most popular Las Vegas table game. It has the most tables. All casinos with table games in the Las Vegas market deal blackjack. It is the only game dealt by three of those gaming establishments.

There are many types of Las Vegas blackjack rules. These range from payouts to different moves players are permitted to make.

3/2 Versus 6/5

The most common payout is 3/2. This means the player wins 50% more than the bet when dealt a blackjack. A $10 bet wins $15 on a 3/2 blackjack table. A 6/5 table only pays 20% more than the bet. This means a $10 bet only pays $12. This increases the house edge by about 1.4% when compared to a 3/2 table.

Most blackjack tables in the local and …

Apex Legends Season 23 is halfway through and a mid-season update is bringing a lot of changes to the battle royale. Notably, both Loba and Mirage are getting substantial improvements to their kit–especially Loba–and changes to hop-up attachments are sure to make the already frenetic combat even faster. Even Titanfall 2 fans have a reason to tune in as the EPG-1 grenade launcher from that game is joining Apex Legends through the Rift Relics in casual play.

Loba is definitely the biggest adjustment with this update, however, getting massive buffs to her existing kit that align with the substantial improvements enjoyed by Newcastle and Lifeline at the start of Season 23. Those changes are detailed below:

Oswald Cobblepot isn’t exact a household name, but even casual Batman fans know that this is the given name of Gotham’s Gentleman of Crime, otherwise known as the Penguin. But for the latest (and arguably one of the very best) portrayals of the character, the minds behind the story are making a big change. No longer is he known as Oswald Cobblepot. Instead, the main character of HBO’s The Penguin is known as Oswald ‘Oz’ Cobb.

And this apparently isn’t just some thing where he’ll get his real name later. It’s easy to imagine this being the story of how Oz Cobb the Gangster became Oswald Cobblepot the Gentleman of Crime–his mother changed his name for one reason or another, and he retakes his real name as he takes on his new identity. But that’s not what this is. The Penguin is named Oz Cobb.

“They never got around to changing his name in the comics like they did with the Riddler, going from Edward Nigma to Edward Nashton, from an unreal name to a real name,” explained produce Dylan Clark in an interview with SFX Magazine (via ComicBookMovie). “By doing that, they grounded the character.”

Indeed, when the Riddler was created, his name was Edward Nigma/Nygma, or…

After six games over the past 17 years, there is somewhat surprisingly no Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games installment for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics. This decision to cut ties with Nintendo and Sega reportedly lies at the hands of the International Olympic Committee, which decided instead to work with new partners as well as focus on NFTs and esports.

According to Eurogamer, the IOC didn’t renew a deal with Nintendo and Sega after Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020–the last entry in the franchise. “They wanted to look at other partners and NFTs and esports,” said Lee Cocker, who worked on the series and spoke with Eurogamer. “Basically the IOC wanted to bring [it] back to themselves internally and look at other partners so they would get more money.”
